He wanted a "movie party" at home. We compromised with a fe'te - which is a carnival in aus speak. 15 children. big kids ran the games. it was about 95 degrees out.
As the children arrived they received tickets to play games in the front garden.
hit the ball.
basketball.
and the coin toss.
they earned prizes for each game. we took a little beverage break and headed to the back for more games!
golfing. the fish pond. jump on the trampoline. and elijah's favorite: smash the big brother with water balloons.
pizza arrived for dinner. some children didn't like pizza. bummer.
Let's have a little cartoon break in the movie theatre.
Miss Holly made the popcorn.
1 ticket for the "movie" and 1 for the juice box.
Elijah requested a popcorn cake. this is the best mom could come up with!
We ended the party with the popcorn pinata back in the front garden. making sure all belongings were with the children. (noooooo that was not a hint! ;)
a very fun party. goodbye.
next year's will be in the US!
