KINDERGARTEN!!!!!

What an exciting day - Elijah started Kindergarten! After waking up at 6am and eating breakfast Elijah couldn't wait to put on his new uniform! Then it was time to pose for a few first day of school photos in what has become a tradition - by the front door. Finally at 9 am it was time to head to school with Daddy, Mommy, Isabella & Tia (Jonah was at school himself).

We took a few photos in front of the school sign . . .

a very excited Elijah gives Dad a big kiss before we head over to his new classroom!Heading into his new classroomAt the end of the first day - a big smile lets Mom know right away that things have gone well! Elijah can't wait for tomorrow!

Mom's best gift.

December 23, 8:30 am. Elijah comes down the stairs and climbs up on my lap to cuddle. He snuggles with me for quite a while. An early Chrissy gift as this is one of the few times I can remember him climbing up to cuddle without me requesting him to do so. Such a sweet moment - such a sweet boy :)

First T-Ball Practice

Elijah had his first T-Ball practice on Saturday. It was a fun time, made especially so by the fact that his coach is his dad :)

I don't like it's face . . .

I asked Elijah if we should make prawns (large shrimp) for Matt's Birthday dinner - he said "mmmm I like prawns" then he got a squeamish look on his face and said "but I don't like it's face!" I started laughing hysterically because they sometimes come with the heads on and have those beady eyes and stringy antennae - ugly! He looked at me with a frowny quizzical look on his face and said " I DON'T Mommy - really, I don't like it's face!"

The Chef and his future wife!

The future Mr. & Mrs. Witt?Zoe lives next door to us and is in Elijah's preschool class. Every time Zoe comes over we end up cooking, they are quite good little Chef's! Elijah & Zoe are planning to get married some day - (Zoe has asked us to bring Elijah back to Australia before the time comes!). They range from wanting 10 kids to more recently compromising at 3! I'm sure however many they have they will be cute, don't you think?
